Why does the image start out blurry?
That's the genjutsu mechanic: the day's hidden ninja starts blurred and in grayscale, and the image gets clearer with every wrong guess.
How many guesses do I have before the full image is revealed?
Guesses are unlimited. Each wrong guess reduces the blur until the image reaches full sharpness; you can keep guessing until you identify the ninja or give up.
Can I skip straight to the sharp image?
The blur decreases gradually as you guess. To reveal the answer immediately, you can give up, which counts as a loss. A correct guess also reveals the full image and ends the game.
Is it the same character as in Guess the Character?
Not necessarily; each game draws its own character of the day independently.
